William A Humphrey Jr.

William A. Humphrey Jr., age 92, of Hingham passed away on February 24, 2023. Bill was born, raised, and educated in Springfield, Ma. He began working for the telephone company right out of high school in his hometown for twenty years before getting promoted to a travelling foreman position and then staying with the company for another twenty-two years. Bill met his beloved wife, Marie, while living in Framingham. They soon were married and moved to Hingham in 2004 where they enjoyed their retirement together.

 Bill was an avid sports enthusiast. He enjoyed watching and attending all manner of sporting events. He was also a Boston College Football and Basketball season ticket holder.

Bill is predeceased by his beloved wife, Marie Humphrey(Bogus), and his sister Anna Mae Humphrey. He is survived by his sister Mary Humphrey of Hingham.

A Funeral Mass for Bill will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023, at 10:30AM, in the Immaculate Conception Church, located at 1203 Commercial Street, Weymouth, Ma. 02189.
