Theresa L. Turner

Theresa L. Turner (Rowell), age 88, of Weymouth passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. Theresa was born, raised, and educated in Dorchester. She worked at a nursing home in Braintree from 1980-2013 as a Receptionist. 

Theresa married her husband, Charles, in 1957. They settled in Weymouth where they raised their five children and have lived since. The family has cultivated many fond memories being led by Theresa's example that she set of hard work, family, and faith. She was active mostly at Sacred Heart in Weymouth but is also a recognized parishioner of St. Francis and St. Alberts.

Theresa was predeceased by her beloved husband Charles Turner and seven of her siblings. She is the loving mother of Linda Turner-Murphy of Rockland, Janice Sparda and her late husband Joe of Florida, Chuck Turner and his wife Karen of Whitman, Joseph Turner of NH, and John Turner and his fiancé Alicia Pilalas of Plymouth, cherished Grandmother to Joseph, Andrea, Michael, Bradley, and Derrek Lindsey and Great Grandmother to Jay, Josh, Olivia and Manny. Theresa is also survived by her sister Louise and her late siblings; Rita, Betty, Dolly, Lillian, Mike, Arthur, Billy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Theresa on Monday, March 24, 2025 from 4-7pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home on Tuesday morning at 11am for a Celebration of Life prior to a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church in Weymouth-Braintree Landing at Noon. Burial will follow at the Bourne National Cemetery located in Bourne, MA.
