Theresa Spencer of Weymouth, formerly of Quincy, was called home on September 15, 2023. One of eight siblings, Theresa was raised in Quincy by her parents, the late Francesco and Angela (Salice) Colantonio. She worked at Excel Tool and Die CO in Quincy and in “retirement” at Dunkin Donuts on Sea St., in Quincy.
Theresa loved bingo, scrabble, the Red Sox and walking through Weymouth for miles. She was devoted to her family and did everything in love for them. She was “Ma”, Terri, Ms. Spenny to so many and she always wanted to know if you needed anything. With an infectious smile and kind eyes, she had a way of making everyone she knew feel welcome, special and at home.
Theresa leaves behind her four boys, Gordon Spencer and wife Dianna of NH, Steven Spencer and wife Cindy of Abington, John Spencer and wife Kathy of Carver, and David Spencer and wife Elise of Duxbury. Sister of Pat Colantonio of Dedham, Loretta King of Plympton, Lucy Palmeiri of Norwell, the late Anne Caradonna, Francesco "Joe" Colantonio, Antonio "Tony" Colantonio and Mary Chambers. Niece of Anita Salice of Kingston and the late Giuseppi Salice. Longtime friend, Bart of Weymouth. In continuation of her legacy of love, she leaves behind ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, from 3-6PM in the C.C. Shepherd Funeral Home, located at 134 Pleasant St, (Columbian Sq.)
