Stephen Thomas Ford

Stephen T. Ford, age 79, of East Weymouth, passed away on October 16, 2024. Stephen was born, raised and educated in South Boston, graduating from South Boston High School in 1963. After high school, Stephen entered the National Guard. He met the love of his life, Theresa in 1964 and the two married on February 10, 1968. They lived in Dorchester for a couple years before ultimately deciding to settle in the South Shore to raise their loving family.

Stephen worked as a contractor for forty plus years. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing and watching the New England Patriots. He also loved hosting pool parties for family and friends and was a member of the Weymouth Eagles for many years.

Stephen is survived by his beloved wife, Theresa (Cookie) Ford (Williams), of Weymouth. Loving Father of Collette McElhinney and her Husband Stephen of Hull, Stephen Ford Jr and his wife Kathleen of South Weymouth, Nicole (Nikki) Easler and her husband Erik of East Weymouth. Papa of Ryan McElhinney and his wife Lindsay, Erin McElhinney, Sean McElhinney, Braeden Ford, Celia Ford and Nathan Ford.

Brother of John (Jack) Ford and his wife Anne of Middleton, Thomas (Tom) Ford and his wife Kathy of Rockland, the late Ann Marie Ford of Braintree, Dennis Ford of Southwick, Carol Faraca and her late Husband Jay of Florida, and the late Noreen Hartley and her late Husband Jack of Weymouth. Son of the late Francis Ford and Nora (Foley) Ford of South Boston.
