Spencer Michael Beckwith

Spencer Michael Beckwith (Spence), age 65, passed away on December 31, 2024. Spencer is the beloved son of Shirley Ann (Fino) Beckwith and her late husband Spencer Charles Beckwith. Spencer was born with special needs and lived most of his life at the Wrentham Developmental Center where the staff cared for and loved him like he was family. Athough Spencer could not speak, his expressive eyes and beautiful smile spoke volumes and made him loved by all who knew him. 

Spence is survived by his siblings Marita Beckwith and her fiancé Rick Davenport of Rockland, Carol Mendillo and her husband Michael Mendillo of Lexington, and Michelle Beckwith-Cummings and her husband Michael Cummings of Scituate. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Michelle, David, and Scott Fowler as well as Julie, Michael, and Marie DiSalvio.

Relatives and friends are invited to a brief visitation at the Wrentham Developmental Center located at 7 Littlefield Rd. in Wrentham from 10-10:30am on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. A full Funeral Mass will take place in the auditorium on sight at the center in Wrentham at 10:45am. Burial will follow at the Knollwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Canton.
