Sandra C Marobella

Sandra C. Marobella of Weymouth, Mass., passed away October 18, 2022 at the age of 75. Sandra was raised and educated in Braintree, MA., and attended Braintree High School before returning to Weymouth High School.  She graduated in 1991 along with her son, Robert and her daughter, Laurie.  Sandra married her husband, Robert, in 1965. They briefly lived in Quincy, but moved to Weymouth, where they have resided since. Sandra was a bank teller for many years with South Shore Bank, Hingham Institution for Savings and Randolph Savings Bank, where she worked until her retirement.

Sandra was an amazing woman with many talents and interests. She loved playing bingo with her daughters and was an avid New England sports enthusiast. Sandra was also excellent at crafting things with her hands. When Sandra's children were small, she would stay up all night sewing clothes for them, while listening to talk radio. Above all else, Sandra was a woman who would do anything to care for her family. She was truly a gift to anyone who knew her.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Robert J. Marobella of Weymouth. She was the devoted mother of Deborah A. Lang of Andover, Robert J. Marobella Jr., of Weymouth, Christine M. Welch of Weymouth and the late Laurie J. Comeau. Sandra was the proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren, whom she loved to the moon and back. Sandra also leaves behind her sister Leslie Irwin from Quincy, M.A., and was predeceased by her parents, Ruth and George Mills of Braintree, M.A., and her siblings, Marsha Ferguson, Marilyn Woefle and Stacy Mills.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation for Sandra on Monday, October 24, 2022 from 4-7, P.M., in the CC Shepherd Funeral Home (134 Pleasant St. Weymouth MA). A celebration of life will take place in the funeral home Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 9:30, A.M., prior to Sandra's funeral mass at 10:30, A.M., in the Immaculate Conception Church, 1203 Commercial Street, E. Weymouth. A burial will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery, 125 Cedar Street, Weymouth, MA.
