Sallie Edwards

Sallie Edwards, aged 89, of Weymouth, passed away on April 9, 2023. Sallie was born, raised, and educated in Raleigh, North Carolina. She married her beloved husband, Cleo and the two moved to Dorchester, Ma in 1959. They moved to Weymouth in 1965, where they raised their family. Sallie was the proud of Sallies Coffee Shop in the South End of Boston for thirty plus years.

Sallie was predeceased by her beloved husband Cleo Edwards Sr and her daughter Patricia Edwards and her grandson Wanza Hampton. She is survived by her loving children, Cynthia L Martin, of Weymouth, Cleo J Edwards Jr, of Weymouth, Norman Edwards, of New Hampshire, Leonard Edwards, of Weymouth, and Verinita Edwards, of Weymouth. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Charlie Jr, Nathaniel, Kyle, James, Shani, Tyler, Jordan and Amber. She was loved by her great grandchildren, Charlie III, Julian, Aurora, Jada and Tyra. Sallie was also survived by her sister Judy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Sallie on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 2-4pm in the CC Shepherd Funeral Home, Located at 134 Pleasant St (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. A funeral service will take place immediately after the visiting hours in the funeral home.
