Robert “Bobby" Jackson age 53 of Weymouth, passed away suddenly on March 26, 2024.
Bobby was born in Weymouth, raised and educated in Braintree, graduating from Braintree High School in 1989. He remained close to many of his childhood friends, and resided Weymouth for most of his adult life. Bobby's career followed in his fathers footsteps as a proud member of Local 537 where Bobby worked as a Pipefitter and was currently employed. He had many wonderful and supportive friends and acquaintances in Local 537. They always stood by his side. He was in the Navy Reserves for several years as a Seabee which he was so proud of. Bobby was married to the late, Amy (Nash) Jackson, she was his very best friend. He enjoyed spending time with his and Amy’s beloved dogs, Blaze and Sabbath, and they enjoyed trips to Camden Maine, dining out, and visiting family.
Bobby loved to chat on the telephone, keeping up with the well being of friends and family or to lend a sympathetic ear at any hour. He cared deeply for his family and friends. He loved and was loved by so many.
Robert was the son of the late Robert and Geraldine Jackson of Braintree and Onset. He is survived by his sister Darlene Griffin and her husband, Kevin. He is also survived by his nieces Courtney and Kelly Griffin and his nephew, Kevin Griffin. Bobby was loved by his stepdaughter Sarah and her children Brenden and Mia. Bobby will be missed many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 3pm, at Mount Hope Cemetery in Weymouth. In lieu of flowers donations can be make in Bobby’s memory to the MSPCA
