Robert Eames Jr.

Robert K. Eames Jr., age 74, of Weymouth, passed away on June 8, 2024. Bob was born, raised and educated in Dorchester and he lived there for most of his life until deciding to move to Weymouth where he has resided for the last seven years. He worked as a truck driver for the majority of his career and drove a taxi in retirement.

Bob was a very social man and loved spending time with his friends. He enjoyed bowling, shuffle board and playing pool. He was also a former member of the Weymouth Elks.

Bob is predeceased by his wife, Lois Eames (MacLeod). He is survived by his cousin, Barbara Grosso, her husband, Frank and their son Kyle,
His best friend, Tom Smith & his wife Jean. He will be missed by his dear companion, Debbie Holmes.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation for Bob on Monday, June 17, 2024, from 5-8pm, in the CC Shepherd Funeral Home, located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) South Weymouth. Friends and relatives will gather the following morning at 9:30am in the funeral for a Celebration of Life for Bob, prior to the Mass at Immaculate Conception Church in Weymouth, at 10:30am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Liver Foundation.
