Paul J. McAuliffe

Paul J. McAuliffe, age 65, of Weymouth, passed away on February 4, 2024. Paul was born in Quincy, raised and educated in Weymouth, graduating from Weymouth High School in 1975 . After high school, Paul attended Boston State College. Shortly after college he began working for the family painting and wallpapering business and eventually branched out on his own.

Paul loved the outdoors. He excelled at Lacrosse in high school which led to a write up in the local newspaper. He was fond of skiing in his younger years and more recently enjoyed gardening. He also enjoyed conquering crossword puzzles and was an avid sports enthusiast, especially New England sports. Paul was a long time member of the Weymouth Knights of Columbus.

Paul is predeceased by his father William McAuliffe, and his brother, Kevin McAuliffe. He is survived by his mother, Claire A. McAuliffe (Trenholm), of Weymouth, his brother Robert McAuliffe, of Weymouth, and his sister Diane Edwards and her husband, Kent, of Halifax. Paul was also loved by his nieces and nephews, Marc, Jennifer, Michael and Sarah.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation for Paul on Monday, February 12, 2024, from 4-7pm, at the CC Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St (Columbian Sq.), Weymouth. Relatives and friends will gather the following morning in the funeral home for a Celebration of Life for Paul at 9:30am, prior to the Mass at Immaculate Conception Church in Weymouth at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Weymouth Knights Of Columbus.
