Paul R. Fuller, 76, of Weymouth, passed away on June 4, 2024. Paul was born in Boston and raised and educated in Braintree. He graduated from Archbishop Williams High School in 1965 and earned his Bachelor's in Education at Boston State College, UMass Boston. Paul taught math in the Weymouth Public Schools system for thirty-six years before retiring. Always the educator, he continued teaching at his alma mater, Archbishop Williams, until 2021. Over the years, he coached many track and field and volleyball teams. Paul met the love of his life, Paula, in 1978, and the two wed in 1979. After living in Hanson and Halifax, they settled in Weymouth, where they resided for the last thirty-two years.
Paul loved cooking, gardening, and traveling. He also enjoyed skiing and led ski trips to Europe. Other hobbies included brewing his own beer, tending to his Koi pond, completing the Boston Globe crossword puzzles in ink, and visiting MLB stadiums across the country.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife Paula Fuller (Babcock), of Weymouth. He is also survived by his loving children, Lisa Klein and her husband Jeff, of Southborough, Stephen Fuller and his wife Lisa, of Weymouth, John Fuller of Weymouth and Siobhan Wetzel and her husband Steven, of Whitman. He was also loved by his grandchildren, Adam and his wife Tzipora, Alison, Shannon, Casey, Dalton. Paul will also be missed by his brother, Robert Fuller and wife Linda, and sister-in-law Deb Fuller. He is predeceased by his brother, Michael Fuller. He will be missed by his nephews and many friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation for Paul on Sunday, June 9, 2024, from 4-7pm, in the CC Shepherd Funeral Home, located at 134 Pleasant St (Columbian Sq.) South Weymouth. A funeral service will be held the following morning in the funeral home, at 10am. Burial will be private.
