Michael Mulcahy

Michael John Mulcahy of Weymouth, passed away on February 28, 2024. Michael was born, raised and educated in Weymouth. He graduated from Weymouth South High School  and started working for the family business, MJ Mulcahy and Sons as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator.

Michael loved all things country. He enjoyed line dancing, country music and his pickup trucks. Prior to becoming ill, he wouldn't miss an opportunity to go line dancing. He was also an avid Boston sports fan, and especially enjoyed watching the Red Sox with his mom.

Michael is predeceased by his father, Michael Mulcahy Jr. He is survived by his mother, Diana Mulcahy (Macri) of Weymouth, his siblings, James Mulcahy and his wife Josephine, of Plympton, Brian Mulcahy of North Weymouth, Sean Mulcahy and his wife Cathie, of Weymouth, and his twin brother, Mark Mulcahy and his wife Caroline, of  Weymouth.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation for Michael on Monday, March 4, 2024, from 4-7pm, in the CC Shepherd Funeral Home, located at 134 Pleasant St (Columbian Sq.) South Weymouth. Relatives and friends will gather the following morning in the funeral for a funeral service for Michael, beginning at 10am. Burial will be at Mt. Hope in Weymouth.
