Our hearts were not by; Laurynn Kerr

My dear grandmother my eyes are still slightly misty when I recall my best memories of you, but they will remain in my heart and one day they will no longer hurt so much

Time truly flies by when we are fully grown up, but when I was by your side some moments had the same warmth and comfort as when I was a child

Your warm moments stay with us all especially how much you smiled after cooking something for one of us

The way your chocolate éclair rings cannot truly be described fully as so much love was poured into it

As our lives all advanced further and we crossed milestones, you were so happy to be there for us

Your warmth and smile will always stay with me especially when you were looking at grandpa, the gleam in your eyes when you looked at him made your eyes look like gems as only love was there

One day we will all reunite again and get to embrace you as warmly as we wish to, for now we will keep you into our hearts until our last breaths are drawn

For all of us your passing truly seemed to come out of nowhere, but you were simply ready to get home and rejoin those that have been waiting for your warmth

In so many parts of me, I know you stayed with us as long as possible in order to fully know just how much you were and will be loved

Regardless of what paths we will cross in our lives we will always know that love... does not truly die as it is a truly eternal flame within us all

Our hearts were not ready for your passing but it was simply your time to enter heaven and be with our departed loved ones again

Even as we were not ready I can take solace, in the fact that you are at peace and know just how much you were and will always be loved

Thank you for loving us as much as you could as I will take such love towards others as, that is part of why you are past pearly white gates
