Marie Bradley of Braintree passed away peacefully with her son Joseph by her side on November 21, 2022, at the age of 83. Marie was born, raised, and educated in Quincy graduating from Quincy High School with the class of 1957. After high school Marie attended and received a bachelor's degree from Regis College in 1961. She worked as a teacher and with the Norfolk County Extension Service. She began a courtship with her future husband Walter in 1968 when his military service was concluded. The two wed in 1973, settled down and started a family.
Marie enjoyed her summers on Cape Cod and in particular enjoyed being in the sun at Bay View Beach in Dennis. She was a longtime member of The Gardeners' Guild of Braintree and a charter member of the Wednesday Girls Club held regularly at Dewson Rd. where she made many memories with her friends and family. She will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to have known her.
Marie was the daughter of the late Larry and Josephine Antonelli. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Walter T. Bradley Jr., Marie was the loving mother of Joseph Bradley of Braintree. She was the sister of the late Loretta (Antonelli) DiBona, Rena (Antonelli) Sterns, Christine (Antonelli) Montani. She also leaves behind her brother, Larry Antonelli Jr. of Boston and Brother in laws Benjamin DiBona of Weymouth and David Montani of Dennis along with many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation for Marie on Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 2-6pm in the CC Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. Weymouth (Columbian Sq.). A celebration of life will take place in the funeral home on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 9AM followed by a funeral mass at St. John the Baptist Church in Quincy at 10AM. A graveside service will immediately follow at Mount Wollaston Cemetery in Quincy.
