Lucas Carl Zeb Flipp, of Marshfield and Los Angeles, CA. passed away suddenly on January 19th, 2024.
Lucas was raised in Marshfield where he graduated from Marshfield High School in 2011. While in high school Lucas was a member of the drama club and the Marshfield Student Broadcasting show "Before the Bells". During those shows Lucas provided countless laughs to the entire student body every morning during homeroom. Lucas furthered his education by attending Salem State University where he earned his Bachelors degree in Media Production with a minor in Theatre and Interactive/Electronic Art. While in college Lucas began to perform stand up comedy where he captivated the audiences with his quick wit and his infectious charisma. He also found success creating content on social media not only for himself but helping others to build on their platforms. His hilarious content can be seen on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Tik Tok.
Upon his college graduation, Lucas moved to Los Angeles, CA. There he continued his comedic stand ups, social media influencing and began to work as an actor and model. Lucas could be found in national commercials for companies such as Google, Uber Eats and Jim Beam, Lucas co-wrote, produced and starred in The Lab Rats on the Zeus Network. The show was nominated for a Streamy Award for their writing.
Lucas had a zest for life that could not be matched. Every person who met him, instantly fell in love with his magnetic personality. To know Lucas was to love him. You could not help but want to be near him and laugh with him until your sides hurt. His infectious and boisterous laugh will live on forever in the hearts and minds of friends and family. He was nothing short of a bright light that captivated and drew you near. For all those lucky enough to be part of his life will forever be a better person because of him.
Lucas was born on July 15th, 1993 to Bruce Flipp and the late Lorraine (Toland). Lucas, or more lovingly known as Luke, was the youngest child and leaves behind his sisters, Caitlyn Breen and her husband Matthew of Plymouth and Lindsay Browning and her husband Timothy of Weymouth. Luke was the ever fun and loving uncle to Emma B, Emma F, Caleb, Madison and Aiden. Lucas leaves behind his long time partner, Jon Cooper of Los Angeles CA; with whom he shared his life and love with. Lucas is predeceased by his grandparents, Frank and Rita Toland, of Weymouth and Carl and Constance "Lady" Flipp, of Weymouth. Lucas comes from a large, loving family and leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation for Lucas on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, from 4-8pm, at the CC Shepherd Funeral Home, located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) South Weymouth. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home the following morning, Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 11am. A celebration of Life will be held at the Knights of Columbus (25 Chauncy Street, Weymouth) immediately following Thursday's service.
