Linda M. Webber

Linda Marie Webber, age 58 of Weymouth, passed away peacefully after a long battle with illness on January 20, 2025. Linda was raised and educated in Dorchester, MA and graduated from St. Gregory’s with the class of 1984. From high school, she attended UMass Boston followed by Curry College. She began her career as a nurse at Boston Medical Center working in various units. While doing so, she went back to school and achieved her masters degree from UMass Boston. She also spent time working at Newton Wellesley and South Shore Hospital while most recently working at The Boston Home and teaching future CNA’s at Labouré College in Milton. 

Linda was a woman with an enormous heart. She spilled her life into her work and was fully devoted to helping people of many needs. When she wasn’t working, she loved to spend time with her friends and family. She enjoyed attending her daughter Lauren’s dance recitals and her son Ryan’s basketball games. Her love and passion for her children will never go unknown. 

Linda was the daughter of William Davis and Mary McCarthy of Dorchester. As they still remained good friends and parents to their children, she leaves behind the loving father of her children, Michael Webber. She was the loving mother of Michael Webber, Lauren Webber and Ryan Webber all of Weymouth. She leaves behind her siblings Christine, Timothy, Kevin and many friends and coworkers.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a visitation in memory of Linda on Friday January 31, 2025 from 10AM-12PM in the CC Shepherd Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation in the funeral home at 12pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda’s memory to the ASPCA.
