Lahcen Azadim

March 3, 1955 — December 14, 2023

Weymouth

Lahcen Azadim, age 68, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on December 14th of 2023. Lahcen was raised in Morocco. Once he graduated, he attended Tarht House Culinary school as well as Ecole de Gasstronomic Francaise Ritz in Paris, France. He then emigrated to the United States and worked in labor positions such as a manufacturer for School Street Candy for a few years, then a Spreader for children's clothing wear at Health-tex for over 10 years. After that his passion came alive again as he re-entered the world of cooking. He worked as a talented chef at various locations in Rhode Island, Virginia and Massachusetts. He spent many years working at restaurants in Boston such as the Boston Marriot, Zott's and a few more until he found work closer to home in the heart of Weymouth at Olympic Pizza. After leaving he worked around helping those he knew at various locations until he found his second home at Napoli House of Pizza in which he considered staff there to be like family as many shared a similar culture. In his free time, he would pick up shifts at Gillette Stadium which as he was a staff member for their sporting events and concerts.

In addition to his unwavering work ethic, Lahcen found great pleasure in cooking at home, gardening, walking beside the ocean especially the rocks at Nantasket Beach, spending time with his loved ones and watching sports. He was an avid supporter of the Boston Bruins, New England Patriots, Red Sox and Celtics. What he loved most was being a Papa to his grandson Mekhi in which he adored.

Although he is gone, which seems too soon he leaves behind a legacy, memories and unconditional love to flourish and grow within all the hearts of those he knew. He will be missed dearly, loved forever and never forgotten.

Lahcen is survived by his beloved daughter Ashley Quimby, her son Mekhi Shipp, his loving partner Lisa Alisandratos in which he spent over 20 years of life with, her son Kosta Alisandratos and fiancé Gina Prioli, his two children Chyenne and Niko Alisandratos, her daughter Thora Alisandratos and her mother Karen Truett.
