Keith MacDonald

Keith R. "Snake" MacDonald, age 54, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 8, 2025. Keith was born in Quincy then raised and educated in Plymouth where he excelled at basketball and other athletics. After school he went into construction and eventually was self employed as a painter for many years.

Along with basketball, Keith loved playing softball and did so for over 20 years on local teams. Later in life he took an interest in Pool and Poker and has enjoyed meeting countless friends doing so. Keith made friends easily, with his larger than life personality. You always knew he was in the room or pool hall because of his infectious laugh.

Keith is survived by his significant other of many years Wendy Chambers of Taunton, his children Kyle MacDonald of Carver, Keith MacDonald Jr. of Taunton, and Alex MacDonald of Bridgewater, his grandson Keith R. MacDonald III, and his siblings Scott Coleman and Michele MacDonald. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visitation for Keith on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 4-7pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq) Weymouth, MA. A Celebration of Life will take place at the closing of the visitation at 7pm.
