June M. Murphy

June M. Murphy (Keniston), age 83, of Hingham passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023. June was born, raised, and educated in Weymouth. She married her beloved husband, James M Murphy, in 1966. They started a family in Weymouth then moved to Hingham where June has lived for 56 years. June loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she is so proud of.

June was predeceased by her husband James Murphy. She is the mother of Lorraine Wannebo and her husband Steven of MN, Raymond Murphy of Rockland, Daniel Murphy and his wife Heidi of Abington, Vincent Murphy of CA, stepdaughter Elizabeth Short of NC and the late William Murphy, grandmother to 14 cherished grandchildren, and great-grandmother to eight. June is also the sister of Shirley Cahill, Jane Murphy, Lois Sweezey, Joan Jackson, Robert Kenniston, Karen Chase, Doris Swain, the late Richard Kenniston and the late twin sister Jean Sweezey.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visitation for June on Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 2-4pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the funeral home on Monday at 9am for a Celebration of Life prior to the Funeral Mass which will begin promptly at 10am at St. Albert the Great Church on Rt. 53 in Weymouth. Cremation will follow.
