Joseph Presutti, age 65, of Weymouth passed away at home on Friday May 24, 2024 after a battle with cancer. Joe was born in Dorchester then raised and educated in Braintree. He worked as a property manager for many years, which he loved. He also worked for Graziano's in Braintree and M&M Transport.
Joe has been with his beloved fiancé, Christine, since 2012. He was a talented carpenter, a jack-of-all-trades, and was known and loved for causing "gentle chaos." An infamous example is when he drove his tractor down the road to 7-Eleven for cigarettes and happily waved to everyone passing as they beeped and yelled their way by.
Joe was there for everyone when they needed him. He had a heart of gold and left a mark on the lives of those around him with his generosity and protective spirit.
Joe is survived by the love of his life, Christine Collins of Weymouth. He is predeceased by his parents Antonio and Joanne (Hobin) Presutti. He is survived by his loving children Deanna Presutti of Florida, Kristen Presutti and her partner Kim Effner of Quincy, Melanie Sugrue and her husband John of Hanson, Hayley Corey and her husband Calvin of Scituate, and Steven Collins and his future wife Jess Biancardi of Quincy, his cherished grandchildren Evan, Jack, and Sam, and his siblings John, Anthony, Donna, and Bob Presutti.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Joe on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 4-7pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home Thursday morning at 9:45am for a funeral service that will begin at 10am.
