Joanne Petitti

Joanne Petitti (Rindone), age 91, of Weymouth, passed away on November 11, 2023. Joanne was born and  raised in Quincy, graduating from Quincy High School in 1949. Shortly after graduating from high school, Joanne married the love of her life, Mario Petitti. The two moved to Braintree where they raised their children then decided to move to Weymouth in 1976.

Joanne worked for New England Telephone company for many years as a telephone operator and then as a fraud specialist for the company. She was very involved in the Catholic Church and was an active parishioner at Immaculate Conception Church in Weymouth. She was a Eucharistic Minister for the local elderly community. Joanne loved her family, she was blessed to be a grandmother, great grandmother and a  great great grandmother.

Joanne is predeceased by her husband Mario Petitti and her daughter, Cassandra Lima  also her grandson, Anthony Petitti. Joanne is survived by her loving children, John A. Petitti, of Weymouth, Pamela A. Petitti, of Weymouth.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass for Joanne on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 10:30am at the Immaculate Conception Church in Weymouth. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Weymouth. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society using the link provided on this page.
