Jean Hassanine of Randolph lost her battle with cancer on September 26, 2022 at the age of 75. Jean was born, raised and educated in Quincy graduating with the North Quincy High School class of 1965. After graduation Jean started a family and went right to work with the Stop and Shop Corporate offices in Quincy. In 1984 Jean took a new position as a closing manager with Relocation Resources Inc. which was later acquired by Weichert Workforce Mobility where she had worked since.
Jean was a hard working woman that always loved keeping her mind busy. She loved doing puzzles, playing poker, gambling and most of all playing bingo. In her earlier years she enjoyed camping with her family, many trips to Las Vegas, vacations to the Bahamas and spending time with her best friend, Gail, in Florida. Jean was always a woman of charity and generosity and would volunteer with various fundraisers and events with the Easter Seals and RRI. Above all else Jean cherished any time that she got to spend with her family and friends.
Jean was the loving mother of Scott Coleman and his wife Meaghan of Plymouth, Keith MacDonald and his significant other Wendy of W. Bridgewater and Michele MacDonald-Hogan and her husband Wayne of Randolph. She was the adored grammy of Kyle, Alicia, Derrell, Tanashia, Keith Jr., Keanna, Alexandria, Tamira, Nathan, Teresa, Wayne Jr. and the great grammy of Avah, Amayah, Mae, Adonis and Lily. Jean was the sister of John "Jack" Estrella of AZ, Joan Bertrand of Weymouth, Richard "Dickie" Estrella of FL and was predeceased by her brothers Robert Estrella and Ronald Estrella. Jean also leaves behind her friend and former husband Sam Hassanine.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation in memory of Jean on October 9, 2022 from 2-3pm in the CC Shepherd Funeral Home (134 Pleasant St. Weymouth, Columbian Sq.) A funeral service will take place in the funeral home immediately following the visitation at 3pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jean's memory to American Cancer Society.
