Jean Dineen

Jean Dineen (Ruddick), age 81, of Weymouth, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Jean was born in Brighton and raised in Randolph, graduating from Randolph High School in 1960. Jean married the love of her life Charles in 1967 and the two settled in Weymouth to raise their loving family. Jean was an active member of Saint Francis Xavier Parish in Weymouth. She adored being a mother and spending time with family, especially in Cape Cod.

Jean is predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles Dineen. She is survived by her loving children, Matthew Dineen along with his wife Kristin and son Charlie of New Jersey, Michael Dineen and his wife Bridget Fitzpatrick of California, and sister Susan and her husband Dave Mahan of Massachusetts.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation for Jean on Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 2-5pm, in the CC Shepherd Funeral Home, located at 134 Pleasant St (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth. Relatives and friends will gather the following morning at 9am, at the funeral home, for a Celebration of life for Jean prior to the Mass at Saint Bernadette's in Randolph at 10am. Burial will be at Central Cemetery in Randolph.
