Guido R Brandolini Jr., aged 91, of Weymouth, passed peacefully on June 17, 2023. Guido was born, raised, and educated in Weymouth, graduating from Weymouth High School in 1947. After high school he joined the United States Air Force where he proudly served his country during the Korean War. He married his beloved wife, Thelma, who also served, in 1955. The two settled in Weymouth, where they raised their loving family.

Guido worked for the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier for 35 years before retiring. In his retirement he enjoyed shooting pool, playing the lottery and poker. He was also known to be an impeccable dresser. Guido was a member of the Weymouth Sons of Italy for many years.

Guido is predeceased by his beloved wife, Thelma "Nell"  (Hancock). He is survived by his loving children, Gino Brandolini and his wife, Donna, of Whitman, Michael Brandolini, of Weymouth, Monica Burke and her husband, Paul, of Marshfield and Deborah Vella,  of Whitman. Guido was also loved by his grandchildren, Tina, Megan, Kelsi, Eleicea, Brian, Brianna, and the late Nicholas Brandolini. Guido was blessed with ten great grandchildren.

Services for Guido will be private.

Guido's family wishes to extend their sincerest gratitude to The Pope Nursing Home staff for the excellent care and compassion they provided Guido and his family.
