Frank L. Hard Jr.

Frank L. Hard Jr., age 75, of Weymouth passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Frank was raised and educated in Braintree. He graduated in 1967 from Braintree High School where he met his future wife, Judy. Frank worked hard at multiple jobs while attending Massasoit Community College getting his associates degree in accounting. 

Growing up in South Congregational Church in Braintree, Frank was active church member in the choir, basketball team, and Boy Scouts where he was a member of the Order of the Arrow. He was also a Deacon at the church later in life. Frank has countless fond memories of camping with his family, and trips to San Francisco and Las Vegas. He also enjoyed playing the guitar.

Frank married Judy in 1974 and they eventually settled in South Weymouth where they raised their son.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife Judith Hard (Cormier) of South Weymouth and his son Greg Hard of Charlestown.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visitation for Frank on Monday, April 7, 2025 from 4-7pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. Friends will gather Tuesday morning for a service in the funeral home at 10:15am so that the service can begin promptly at 10:30am. Burial will immediately follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the South Congregational Church at 1075 Washington St. Braintree, MA 02184.
