Frank E. Erickson

Frank Edward Erickson of Weymouth, MA passed away at South Shore Hospital on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at the age of 99. Frank was born in Boston, graduated from the Boston Technical High School and was a longtime resident of Weymouth. He spent most of his career working for United Car Fastener of Cambridge as a supervisor. He was also on the board of directors and treasurer of Union Towers.

Frank had a love of gardening and enjoyed vacationing in Kennebunkport, ME as well as Siesta Key, FL with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.

Frank was the beloved husband of the late Marjorie A. Erickson. He was the loving father of Robert W. Erickson of Weymouth and the late Susan E. Glines and late husband George R. of Canterbury, NH. Frank was a devoted grandfather of Kate Mason and husband Jacob, Peter Glines and wife Nicole, and Eric Glines and wife Fiina all of Canterbury, NH.  Frank was a proud great grandfather to seven, Anna, Allison, Nora, Lillian, Hayley, Josie, & Georgia. He was predeceased by his siblings Carl Erickson Jr. and Lillian MacGillvray.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation in memory of Frank on Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 2-5pm in the CC Shepherd Funeral Home, Weymouth. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Frank’s memory to the First Church of Weymouth.
