Francis Bromberg

 Francis Bromberg, age 89, of S. Weymouth passed away on August 4, 2024. Frank was born and raised in Dorchester. He served in the Army from 1954-56 stationed in Germany where he met the love of his life, Liane. After they were married in 1957, Frank and Liane lived in Dorchester, eventually settling in Weymouth in 1963.  They raised their family and cultivated countless memories.

 Frank was an electrician and proud union member of the IBEW Local 103 for 40 years. He enjoyed volunteering in his community, traveling and playing cards

 Frank is survived by his beloved wife Liane (Scheuermann) Bromberg of Weymouth, his children Liane M. Bromberg and her partner Deb Issokson of Hull, Mike Bromberg and his companion Susan Llewellyn of Rockland, Karen Johnson of Weymouth, Steve Bromberg and his wife Donna of Hanover, and Susan Jensen and her husband Jake of Weymouth.  He is also survived by his grandchildren Marissa, Jake, Erik, Shannon, Lauren, Kevin, Derek, Katie, Jack, and Tomas.

 Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Frank on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 4-7:30pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. So.Weymouth, MA.  Family and close friends will gather in the funeral home at 9am on Friday morning for a Celebration of Life prior to the funeral Mass which will take place at 10am in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
