Elaine Francis Frawley

February 19, 1951 — August 3, 2018

Elaine Francis Frawley, of Weymouth, passed away at the age of 67 peacefully at home on August 3, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Gerard and Mary (Shea) Frawley. Elaine was raised in Quincy and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Massachusetts College of Art. Her employment career started in graphic design and then she moved on to working for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in a variety of positions beginning as a social worker, training supervisor, policy and procedures writer, and Manager of Federal Grants for the Department of Housing and Community Development. 

Elaine’s favorite past times were spent either gardening or expressing herself through her art works in the mediums of drawing, painting, and clay sculpture. She was also an avid reader and will certainly be remembered for being a loving and caring person. Elaine is survived by her beloved husband of 35 years, Carl Cohen, son Jake Cohen of London, England, son Andrew Cohen with daughter in law Kara and grandsons Logan and Jack of Lynnfield. She was predeceased by her brother Kevin Frawley and also is survived by her siblings, Gerard Frawley of Quincy his wife, Eileen, and daughters Kathleen and Kerin, Marijane Barrett of Weymouth her husband William and their children Susan, Julie, William and Michael, Jean McCullough of Fort Myers, FL and her son Rob, and Susan White of Falmouth and her daughter Jennifer and son Joe as well as several great nieces and nephews.

The funeral celebrating Elaine’s life was held at Sharon Memorial Cemetery, Sharon, MA
