Edward Doyle

Edward C. Doyle, age 92,  of Braintree passed away on April 29, 2023 after a brief illness. He will best be remembered for his adventurous spirit and impish ways.

Born in Boston, MA to Edward and Mary Doyle, He lived in Quincy until he met the love of his life, Joan Dewolf at H.P. Hood in Charlestown. After many moves, they finally settled in South Weymouth where they raised their six children.

Edward is predeceased by his wife Joan Doyle, he is survived by his children, Rebecca, Edward, Coleman, Matthew, Eliza, and Sarah, his 8 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters. Edward is also survived by his sisters Barbara Leggett and Kathleen Roskott. Edward is predeceased by his sisters, Mary O'Brien and Margaret Doyle, and his brothers, James Doyle and Michael Doyle of the South Shore.

Per Edward's request, his funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Alzheimer's foundation using the link provided on this page.
