Diane Palmer

Diane Dorothea Palmer (Lee), age 73, of Middleborough, passed away on April 28, 2024. Diane was born, raised and educated in Boston, graduating from Hyde Park High School in 1968. After high school she attend Quincy College. She married the love of her life, Francis Palmer Jr., in 1972, and the two settled in Weymouth where they raised their loving family.

Diane was an excellent cook. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, recently taking up painting. She was an avid reader and a member of the Middleborough Elks and the Women's Club of Oak Point. Most of all, Diane adored being a grandmother to her five grandchildren, who lovingly referred to her as "Yaya".

Diane is survived by her beloved husband, Francis Palmer Jr., of Middleborough. She is also survived by her loving children, Francis Palmer III and his wife, Josselyn, of Weymouth and Stacey Ware and her husband, Michael, of Weymouth. Diane was loved by her grandchildren, Dominic, Madelyn, Angelina, Nicholas and Benjamin.

Services for Diane will be private, per her wishes. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in her name to a charity of your choice.
