Christine M. Welch

Christine Marie Welch of Weymouth passed away suddenly on March 23, 2023 at the age of 53. Christine was born, raised, and educated in Weymouth and graduated with the Weymouth High School class of 1988. After graduating she began working as a hairdresser and barber. She spent most of her working career with the Jackson Square Barbers in Weymouth until 2017.

Christine was a loving and caring woman. She loved flowers, always had her music on and adored animals, especially her beloved dog Bella. Above all else Christine was a proud mother and raising her family who was first and foremost. She was truly a gift and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Christine was the cherished daughter of Robert Marobella of Weymouth and his late wife Sandra. She was the devoted mother of Randy Welch and his wife Erica of Weymouth, Emily Welch of Weymouth and Robert J Marobella of Weymouth. She was the sister of Deborah A. Lang and her husband John of Andover, Robert Marobella Jr. of Weymouth and the late Laurie J. Comeau. Christine also leaves behind many extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral mass for Christine on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 10AM at the St. Albert the Great Church (1140 Washington St. Weymouth). A burial will follow at the Fairmount Cemetery in Weymouth. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in Christine’s memory to the MSPCA.
