Annette Mantia

Annette V. (Salvatore) Mantia, aged 89, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2023. Annette was born in Boston, raised and educated in Roslindale, graduating from Girls High School in 1948 and she then went on to attend secretary school. After completing secretary school, Annette settled in Weymouth in 1959 to raise her beautiful family until she moved to Naples, Florida and resided there enjoying the sunshine, for twenty five years.

Annette was a people person, she could talk to anyone and enjoyed socializing. She was a woman of faith and was very active in the St. John The Evangelist Parish of Naples, Florida.

Annette is predeceased by her daughter Deborah McGuiness. She survived by her daughters, Patricia Delorey and her husband George of Weymouth, Denise Sullivan and her husband Paul of Weymouth, and Kelly McWilliams and her husband Brian of Lee High Acres, Florida. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Amanda, Catherine, Liam, and Jackson and her great grandchildren, Mason and Oakley.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation for Annette on Monday, June 12, 2023, from 8:30-9:30 am in the C.C. Shepherd Funeral Home, located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) South Weymouth. A Funeral Mass will follow at the St. Francis Xavier Church, located at 234 Pleasant St. Weymouth, at 10am.
