Ann Marie Poulicakos

Ann Marie Jacobson Poulicakos passed away surrounded by her loved ones on June 17, 2023.

She was born in Lawrence, MA on May 22, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Marie Jacobson of Quincy. Ann Marie grew up in Quincy, MA and graduated from Quincy High School in 1961.

Ann left her career after marrying Christos J. Poulicakos to become a full time mom in 1967. Ann and Christos traveled widely. Ann always loved exploring other cultures and meeting new people. She always cared about people and always found the good in all she met.

She was the light and pillar of strength of her family and provided the guidance and wisdom to rise from nothing to achieve her dreams and aspirations. Ann faced down multiple illnesses in her later years with remarkable courage and grace. Nothing could break her spirit and only time was able to defeat her.

Ann is survived by her husband Christos J. Poulicakos, brother Walter Jacobson, sons Paul, Neil, Mark, Daughter in Law Cherry Poulicakos. Grandchildren Shay, Troy, Tessa Poulicakos, and loving cousins, nieces, and nephews. Ann was predeceased by her sister, Margaret Jacobson Fortin.

Services for Ann will be private for friends and family.
