Alicia Sweeney

Alicia A Sweeney, age 62, of Mashpee passed away peacefully after a long illness on December 3rd, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. Alicia was born and raised in Boston.  She loved spending time with family and friends, cooking, and going to the beach. She spent many summers vacationing in the cape until she bought her own house there and finally settled in Mashpee. She was the daughter of the late Eugene A Sweeney and the late Katherine (Bonugli) Sweeney. She is survived by her loving daughter Shivon Roach of West Roxbury and her brother Michael Sweeney of Hanover. She was predeceased by her siblings David, Peter, Kevin, and Donald Sweeney, Gina Sweeney, and Paula Leahy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours for Alicia on Sunday, December 8, 2024 from 2-5pm in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St (Columbian Sq.) Weymouth, MA. Friends are invited to join the family Monday morning for a Celebration of Life in the funeral home at 10am, please arrive at 9:45am if planning to attend. Burial will take place immediately following the Celebration of Life in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
