Agripina Ocejo

Agripina Ocejo, age 82, of Rockland, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024. She was born and raised in Mexico City, where she and her husband, José Luis, raised their three sons. Agripina was very proud of her sons' accomplishments in swimming, always looking forward to supporting them and traveling to see them compete.

Agripina was a dedicated, passionate, and strong family woman who will be missed by all. She lived life to the fullest and cherished every moment with her loved ones. She enjoyed attending concerts with friends, listening to all types of music, and being social. In her later years, she lived with her son in the United States, where she experienced many unexpected, meaningful moments.

Agripina was predeceased by her beloved husband, José Luis Heligoland, and her two sons, Jorge and Ernesto Heligoland. She is survived by her son, Luis Heligoland, his wife Julieta, and her grandchildren Nathalie and Abbie of Rockland, as well as her grandchildren Kimberly and Katherine of Mexico. She was a strong and compassionate foundation for her granddaughters, offering them a love like no other.

She is also survived by her sisters Yolanda Ocejo and Teresa Ocejo, whom she always loved and supported.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit Agripina on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the C.C. Shepherd Funeral Home, located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.), Weymouth, MA. Cremation will follow, and Agripina’s urn will be respectfully cared for.
