Dolores J. Morin

Dolores (Wolfert) Morin, age 84, passed away after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s at the Royal Rehabilitation Center in Braintree on Sunday September 11, 2011. Dolores was the loving wife for 61 years of Richard L. Morin of Weymouth and is survived by her children, Thomas Morin and his wife Donna of Marstons Mills, Richard J. Morin and his partner Sohel Rahman of Easton and Jacquelyn Deveau and her husband Charles of South Easton. She also leaves 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Dolores is predeceased by her grandson Eric Morin.
She was born in Somerville and lived in Weymouth all her life. Dolores graduated from Weymouth High School in 1945 and obtained a Bachelors’ Degree in Fine Arts from the Massachusetts College of Art in 1949. She was an Art Consultant for 28 years for several art galleries in Hingham.
A Funeral Service will be held at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Wednesday September 14 at 10 A.M. Visiting Hours will be on Tuesday from 4 to 8 P.M. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Weymouth.
