Lawrence L. Farrand

Lawrence L. Farrand age 72 passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, June 25, 2011. Lawrence was the loving husband of Claire for almost 50 years. Father of Christine Lockhart and her husband Robert of Squantum, John Farrand of Plymouth, Paula Pitts and her Husband Dan of Quincy, Moreen Quinlan and her husband Michael of East Taunton, Grandfather of Melissa, Danny, Nick, Casey. Connor, John, Colin, Robbie, and Kiley, Great Grandfather of Dominic and Andrea, Brother of Wallace Farrand of FL., Robert Farrand of North Easton, and Richard Farrand of Quincy. He was a Veteran of the U.S.M.C. and a Veteran of the Vietnam War and proudly served his country for over 22 years retiring as a Gunnery Sergeant in 1977. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #380. Visiting hours will be held at the C.C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) South Weymouth on Wednesday June 29, 2011 from 6-8 P.M. immediately followed by a funeral service at 8 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
