Barbara J. (Sadlier) Estano

Barbara J. (Sadlier) Estano passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family and dear friends on Sunday June 19, 2011.
She was the daughter of the late Charles M. Sadlier Sr. and Barbara A. Sadlier of Weymouth, MA, the devoted mother of Jason M. Estano of Braintree, MA, the cherished sister of James R. Sadlier and his late wife Margaret of Jacobstown, NJ, Sharon A. Sadlier of Halifax, MA, Elizabeth J. Thompson of Braintree, MA, Carol J. Killion of Rockwall, TX, the late Charles Sadlier Jr. and the late Arthur T. Sadlier both of FL. She also leaves many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and loving friends.
Barbara was born in Chelsea, MA lived the last 50 years in Weymouth and attended Weymouth and Quincy public schools. She was a Bookkeeper and Office Administrator working for Carpenters Local 67 and Pile Drivers Local 56 in Dorchester for 30 years before retiring in 2005. Barbara was a former Town Meeting Member of Weymouth and a member of the Pembroke Country Club Women’s League and the Rockland Golf Club Women’s League.
Visiting hours will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Saturday, June 25 from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. immediately followed by the Funeral Service at 2 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Barbara’s memory to the Dana Farber Cancer Center at South Shore Hospital, 101 Columbian St, S. Weymouth, MA 02190.
