Phyllis L. (Means) Corridan, age 87, passed away at the South Shore Hospital on June 18, 2011. Phyllis was the wife of the late Edward R. Corridan and is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Corridan of McKinleyville, CA and her sister Maude Gallinelli of Humarock. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter, Gayle Corridan, her parents Roy and Caroline Means of N. Quincy, her sisters, Doris Means Leitch and Barbara Means McAvoy and her brother, Fred Means. She was born in Braintree, grew up in North Quincy and lived in South Weymouth for 25 years before moving to East Braintree 27 years ago. Phyllis worked as an operator for the New England Telephone Company before working as a Switchboard Operator for the Massachusetts State Lottery where she worked for many years. The Funeral will be from the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Wednesday, June 22 at 9 A.M. followed by the Funeral Mass at the St. Francis Xavier Church, 261 Pleasant St. S. Weymouth at 10 A.M. Visiting Hours will be on Tuesday from 4 to 7 P.M.
