Susan Durant

Susan (Knott) Durant, age 58, passed away on June 2, 2011. Susan grew up in South Weymouth and graduated from Weymouth High School in 1970. Susan was formerly of Marshfield. She married her high school sweetheart, Glenn, in 1977. She is survived by her devoted husband Glenn J. Durant, cherished daughter Lindsay E. James of Natick and treasured son Jason A. Durant of Brockton. Susan was an affectionate mother and dedicated herself to ensuring the happiness and success of her children. She was a volunteer at her children’s’ schools in Marshfield, MA. Susan was also a doting “mom” to Mischief and “Nana” to Gibbs and Deckster. As a child she spent her summers in Francestown, NH and later shared her joy of this tranquil town with Glenn and her children. She joins her parents Arlene S. Knott and John A. Knott, as well as her Nana Sullivan at rest. The Funeral Service will be private. Donations may be made in Susan’s memory to the charity of your choice.
