John Michael Cassese

John M. Cassese, age 78, passed away at Southwood Nursing Center in Norwell on Monday April 4, 2011. Jack leaves his four children, Debra Thompson, Drew, Donald and Darren Cassese and grandchild Isabelle Thompson. A Weymouth native, he lived in Weymouth all his life graduating from Weymouth High School. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy. Jack spent most of his life working in the local family business, Weymouth Concrete Block Company. Towards the end of his career he was self-employed as a local builder. Jack took pleasure from his family and was and avid, passionate follower of New England Sports Teams in particular The Patriots. His family and friends will miss him. The Funeral will be from the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Friday April 8, at 8 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church, 720 Broad St. Weymouth at 9 A.M.
