Marjorie E. Ross

Marjorie (Edwards) Ross passed away on Friday, March 4, 2011. Marjorie was the wife for 41 years of the late Urban A. Ross and is survived by her children; Janet Monti of Winterville, NC, Allan Ross and his wife Kathleen of Abington, Thomas Ross of Virginia Beach, VA, Eileen Gerrity and her husband Michael of Virginia Beach, VA, Mary Currie and her husband John of Weymouth, Terri Lindsay and her husband Richard of Simpsonville, SC. James Ross and his wife Sherri of Jacksonville, FL, John Ross of Virginia Beach, VA, Barbara Ross of Kingston, Patricia Furtney and her husband Kenneth of Pembroke and Lynda Koke of Taunton and her sister Janet Snow of Arizona. Marjorie also leaves 24 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was born in Quincy, lived in Braintree and lived for 35 years in South Weymouth before moving to Virginia Beach for the last 10 years. Marjorie enjoyed playing cribbage and cards with the grandchildren, Bingo, traveling in her earlier years including cruises and trips to Hawaii. The Funeral will be from the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Saturday, March 12 at 8 A.M. followed by the Funeral Mass at the St. Bridget’s Church, 455 Plymouth St. Abington at 9 A.M.
