Marjorie Elizabeth (Sullivan) Connolly, age 84, passed away at the Norwell Knoll Nursing Home on March 3, 2011. Marjorie is the beloved mother of Sandra Ristuccia of Weymouth, Eric Connolly of Brockton and Paul Connolly, She is also survived by her granddaughter Sharon Dailey and her husband Jonny of Marshfield, her 2 great grandchildren; Mark Jacob Dailey and Sarah Elizabeth Dailey whom she loved dearly, her brother James J. Sullivan and his wife Marion, her beloved companion Bill Doyle and her close friends, Joan Keasley and Tom Keasley. She is predeceased by her parents, John and Mary Sullivan, her brothers and sisters; Catherine Mullane, Geraldine Sullivan, John L. Sullivan Jr., Francis L. Sullivan, Mary Gallagher and Constance Doherty. Marjorie was born and grew up in Quincy and lived in Weymouth for 40 years before moving to Holbrook for the last 20 years. She was a Librarian for the Town of Holbrook for 15 years before retiring in 2003 and enjoyed lunches with all her friends from “The Golden Girls” and dancing at many places around the South Shore area for many years. The Funeral will be from the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Tuesday, March 8 at 9 A.M. followed by the Funeral Mass at the St. Francis Xavier Church, 261 Pleasant St. S. Weymouth at 10 A.M. Visiting hours will be on Monday 3 to 7 P.M.
