Cecelia I. Dolan

Cecelia I. (Dubay) Dolan, age 93, passed away at the Forestview Nursing Home in Wareham. Mrs. Dolan was the wife of the late Thomas G. Dolan. Cecelia is survived by her 3 children; Judith A. Hewey and her husband Lyndall of Wareham, Thomas E. Dolan and his wife Claire of Weymouth and Philip P. Dolan of Weymouth, her 2 grandchildren; Meghan Bird and her husband Jeremy of Easton and Thomas J. Dolan and his wife Christina of Holbrook, her 3 great grandchildren; Taylor Dolan, Kiley Dolan and Dylan Bird, her Godchild, Irene Lacey of Manchester, CT and many beloved cousins and friends. She is predeceased by her beloved parents, Victor and Blanche Dubay and her very dear and closest friend Rita Fairclough. Cecelia was born in Caribou, ME, grew up in Jamaica Plain, moved to Weymouth, lived in Whitman many years and moved back to Weymouth in her elder years. Mrs. Dolan was a Food Coordinator at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth for 25 years. She loved caring for her family, cooking, traveling and playing cards. The Funeral will be from the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Monday, March 7 at 9 A.M. followed by the Funeral Mass at the St. Francis Xavier Church, 261 Pleasant St. S. Weymouth at 10 A.M. Visiting Hours will be on Sunday from 4 to 8 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Cecelia’s memory to the Macular Degeneration Foundation Inc., Dr. Edmund J.
