Elsie G. (Allan) Gibbs, age 90, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2011 at Wingate at Silver Lake in Kingston. Elsie was born on March 25, 1920 in Glasgow, Scotland to John and Elsie Allan. Elsie was the wife of the late Everett J. Gibbs. She is survived by her 2 children, James Fulton Gibbs and Jessie-Jean Petkus both of S. Weymouth and her many nieces and nephews in Canada and Scotland especially her favorites, Elsie Clark of P.E.I. Canada, Allan MacRae, her godson and nephew of PEI Canada and her great great nephew Elliotte Gordon who truly gave her great joy and pleasure the past 2 years. Elsie was known for her tailoring skills on South Weymouth, a trade she learned in Scotland. Elsie was a Canadian War Bride and came to Canada in 1946 and then they moved to the U.S. to start their new lives together. A private service will be at a later date on P.E.I. Canada.
