Charles F. Spencer

Charles F. Spencer, age 55, passed away at his home on Thursday November 4, 2010. He is survived by his Daughter Nancy Spencer of Holbrook, his grandson, Nicholas Yanik of Chesapeake, VA, his 2 sisters, Carol Lydon of Holbrook and Donna Whitley of Plymouth and his brother Herbert Spencer of Whitman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Charles is predeceased by his son David Spencer. He was born and grew up in Boston and lived in Brockton for 10 years before moving to Holbrook 14 years ago. Charlie worked as a Postal Clerk for the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years. He served his Country in the Navy during the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion. A Funeral Service will be held at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Tuesday November 9 at 11 A.M. Visiting Hours will be on Monday from 4 to 8 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Charles’s memory to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 220 N.
