Thomas J. Rosebach, age 88, passed away after a period of failing health on Saturday August 28, 2010. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.
Survived by his beloved wife, Mary (Marie) T Rosebach of Hanover, two daughters, Marguerite J. Nelson of Middleboro, Estelle M. Vento of Weymouth and four stepsons, Robert T. Keenan of Plymouth, John F. Keenan Sr. of Weymouth, Thomas J. Keenan of Plymouth and Mark Keenan of Quincy, 19 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. He also leaves his sister, Marilyn (Rosebach) Colatrella. He was the son of the late Edward G. Rosebach and Margaret (Sullivan) Rosebach. Thomas was born on July 17, 1922 and was a 1939 graduate of South Boston High School. He entered the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1939. In 1942 he enlisted in the US Navy and served in World War II and Korea. He also served in Vietnam with the Merchant Marines.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday September 8 at 9:30 A.M. at the St. Albert the Great Church, 1140 Washington St. (Rte. 53) Weymouth followed by a burial service at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations may made in Thomas’ memory to the Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund (CFSRS) P.O. Box 3968, Gaithersburg, MD 02885-3968.
