Leo William Barden

Leo W. Barden age 80, passed away on Tuesday July 6, 2010 at the South Shore Hospital. Leo was the beloved husband for 60 years of Mary E. (Ford) Barden, the treasured father of William Barden and his wife Kiy of East Hampton, Diane Barden of S. Weymouth, Eileen Barden of S. Weymouth, John Barden of S. Weymouth, David Barden and his wife Elaine of Plymouth and Brian Barden of S. Weymouth, the devoted grandfather of Oom Barden of East Hampton and Keith Ericson of S. Weymouth and his sister, Catherine Sullivan of Weymouth. He is predeceased by his daughter, Elaine Barden of S.Weymouth. Leo was born in Roxbury, grew up in Dorchester and has lived in Weymouth for the last 54 years. Mr. Barden served his country in the Marines during the Korean War. He worked for the Boston Edison Company in the Maintenance Department for 39 years. A Private Graveside Service will be held at the St. Mary’s Cemetery, 700 Washington St. in Canton.
