William "Bruddie" Sylvester

William H. “Bruddie” Sylvester, age 79 passed away at his nephew’s home on Monday June 21, 2010. He is survived by his 14 nieces and nephews, his many great nieces and nephews and his great great niece and nephew. Bruddie was born in Orleans and was the son of the late William H. and Beatrice (Eldridge) Sylvester, and had lived in Hull for the last 70 years. He worked for the Town of Hull as a caretaker for the Hull Village Cemetery and then for the John Scott Nursing Home in Braintree for 12 years before retiring in 2000. Visiting will be at the C.C. Shepherd Funeral Home 134 Pleasant St (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Saturday July 10 from 1 to 2 P.M. immediately followed by a Memorial Service at 2 P.M. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made in Bruddie’s name to the Hospice of the South Shore, 100 Bay State Dr. Braintree, MA 02185-9060.
