Jennie L. Davin

Jennie L. (Hutchins) Davin, age 92, passed away on Wednesday March 31, 2010. Mrs. Davin was the loving wife of the late James M. Davin Jr. Jennie was the devoted mother of her 7 children; Judith A. Canty and her husband Michael of S. Easton, Joyce C. Martino and her husband Joseph of S. Weymouth, Janine M. Davin-Sweeney and her husband Michael of Scituate, Jayne L. St. Croix and her husband Francis of Halifax, John E. Davin and his wife Margaret of Plymouth, Jean L. Davin of Canton and her daughter-in-law Carol Davin. She also leaves 17 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and her loyal lapdog, Jazz. Jennie is predeceased by her son James M. Davin III of Livermore, CA and her granddaughter, Jennifer St. Croix of Halifax. Mrs. Davin was born in Medford, grew up in Quincy and lived the last 52 years in South Weymouth. A Funeral Service will be held at the Holy Nativity Church, 8 Nevin Rd. S. Weymouth on Tuesday April 6 at 10 A.M. Visiting Hours will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Monday from 4to8 P.M. Interment will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in S. Weymouth.
